Legendre functions whose gradients preserve convexity

Abstract

In a recent paper concerning Chebyshev sets and some related properties with respect to Bregman distances, Bauschke, Macklem and Wang asked whether a Legendre function with full domain whose gradient preserves convexity actually has an affine gradient. This talk will outline an elementary proof providing an affirmative answer to that question.
